Our Osteo Yoga class is dedicated to everyone with a specific need for gentler practice and spinal core strength. Whether due to the effects of aging, desk work or recent illness, we should all be able to continue practising in a safe way.
The class focuses on the muscles that support your spine while being gentle to joints. It also avoids certain twists and bends that are not recommended for osteoporosis.
If you had a recent injury, surgery or illness that left you feeling weaker, this is also the perfect class to get back into your fitness routine without risking complications. The perfect continuation of recent physiotherapy work.
It is always recommended that you check with your doctor first, but we are confident this class fits most needs.

How to prepare for a Stronger Spine class

Wear comfortable clothes that allow movement

Get a little something to eat at least two hours before the class

Stay hydrated without filling yourself too much before class

It may be more comfortable to tie up long hair using a good hair band
